This design adopts omap-l138+spartan-6 platform. OMAP-L138 is a Texas Instruments (TI) low-power high-performance floating-point DSP c6748+arm9 dual core processor, and spartan-6 is a Xilinx platform FPGA processor with flexible upgrade and high cost performance. This design combines the two chips through the communication interfaces such as UPP and EMIF of OMAP-L138, and the DSP and arm in OMAP-L138 communicate with each other through dsplink/syslink, realizing a dsp+arm+fpga three core high-speed data acquisition and processing system with unique, flexible and powerful requirements.
The front end uses Xilinx spartan-6 FPGA to collect two channels of ad data, with a sampling rate up to 65Mhz. Ad data is transmitted to OMAP-L138 DSP through UPP or EMIF bus.
Arm can initialize and configure parameters on FPGA through SPI and I2C.
The high-speed data processing part consists of DSP core and algorithm library. It can realize real-time transformation and processing of signal parameters such as time domain, frequency domain and amplitude for AD and Da data (such as FFT transformation, FIR filtering, etc.).
The data display storage expansion part is composed of ARM core, graphic display, network and SATA hard disk. The time domain and frequency domain waveforms of AD and DA can be displayed in real time through the application interface of arm; It can realize big data storage and remote network communication.
The maximum sampling rate of ad9238 is 65 ms/s.
